Important enemy target came under attack — General Staff

Over the last day, 190 combat engagements took place in the frontline. At the same time, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck an important target of the occupiers.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Situation on the frontline

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy carried out 10 offensive and assault operations near Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Hlyboke.  

In the Kupiansk sector, the number of combat engagements reached 18 over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy attacks near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, our forces halted 16 enemy attacks. The occupiers concentrated their main efforts in the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Terny, Torske, and the Serebrianske forestry.  

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped three enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky. The situation remains under control. The enemy made five attempts to advance near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.  

In the Pokrovsk sector, there were 48 enemy attacks over the past day. The enemy targeted areas near Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka, Chumatske, and Pustynka.

The Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the Kurakhove sector. In the areas of Berestky, Sontsivka, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, and Antonivka, the occupiers attempted 31 times to break through the positions held by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.  

Our defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks in the Vremivskyi sector, near Trudove, Konstantynopilske, Rozlyv, Sukhi Yaly, and close to Novodarivka.  

In the Orikhiv sector, enemy units made one attempt to advance near Pyatykhatky.  

In the Prydniprovske sector, our troops successfully repelled five attacks by Russian invaders on Ukrainian military positions.

Operation in the Kursk region

Ukraine's defense forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk sector, where the enemy launched 15 air strikes using 22 guided missiles over the past day, and our defenders repelled 29 attacks by the invaders.  

Occupiers' losses over the last day

In total, Russian occupiers' losses amounted to 1,050 people over the last day. In addition, Ukrainian troops neutralized:

• one tank;
• 13 armored combat vehicles;
• five artillery systems;
• one MLRS;
• one air defense system;
• one operational and tactical UAV;
• eight missiles;
• 32 cars;
• a unit of special equipment of the occupiers.

As a reminder, recently in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured 26 occupiers after they attempted to storm Ukrainian positions.

In addition, the General Staff said that in some parts of the frontline, Russians outnumber Ukrainian defenders by 4-8 times. At the same time, the enemy's forces are also gradually running out.
