Russia is using strategic bombers that our country gave away 25 years ago to attack Ukraine. Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, emphasized that we cannot allow such mistakes to be repeated.

This was reported by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov via Telegram on Wednesday, November 27.

"Corruption, incompetence and lack of strategic vision lead to anti-state decisions," the statement said.

Budanov emphasized that we, as a country and a nation that is paying an extremely high price in the fight for our freedom, have no right to allow such mistakes and crimes to be repeated. He recommends reconsidering the investigation by Skhemy journalists into the transfer of Ukrainian bombers and missiles to Russia in the 1990s.

Specifically, the material was based on Defense Intelligence information about Russian pilots committing war crimes.

"We will be able to defeat the enemy and reliably protect Ukraine when we irreversibly change. The interests of the state should become a top priority for everyone," added Budanov.

As a reminder, Polish President Andrzej Duda has declared his readiness to provide Ukraine with MiG-29 fighters, but there is a condition.

Denmark has already delivered six F-16 fighter jets ets to Ukraine. Two more batches are due to be delivered later.
