Russians are rapidly amassing forces in the Kinburn Spit area. They are afraid of Ukrainian advance.

"The enemy is very much afraid that we will conduct a foray there, landing our troops. That is why he has recently amassed some forces there to defend the Kinburn Spit and Tendra Spit. In addition, the enemy has used river boats, which are also involved in preventing our forces from landing on these spits and taking up footholds there," he said.
Where the Russians want to storm
Voloshyn also added that the situation on the southern front is still difficult. Russian troops are actively engaged in combat operations in the Vremivsk sector, as well as in the Prydniprovsky (Kherson) sector.
Meanwhile, the occupiers are also preparing for possible assaults on the Orikhiv and Huliaipillia sections.
"The enemy conducts daily counter-battery operations, shells our positions and frontline settlements, and attacks with missiles and drones. If we talk about assaults, they are different in different directions — for example, in Vremivske and Prydniprovske — they are different. However, they are carried out by small groups of infantry consisting of a squad of 5 to 10 people. Their goal is to advance as far as possible, and they are followed by reinforcement groups," he added.
As a reminder, the Russians launched powerful strikes on the Kherson region during the day.
It also became known that the Russians are mining Kherson remotely and using UAVs for this purpose.
