President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has spoken about the effectiveness of long-range weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine. He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine lack long-range weapons to more effectively defend against Russian attacks and reduce the enemy's potential.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Polish journalists.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces know everything about Russia's important strategic and critical facilities

Long-range weapons have contributed to seriously damaging the Russian army and its combat potential, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

"People primarily seek some kind of miracle right now. They believe that the availability of long-range capabilities for Ukraine will instantly create that miracle. First of all, we delivered long-range strikes with what we already had. Russian ammunition depots, military equipment, and command centers were destroyed. This is extremely important. The losses I mentioned in the Kursk direction — 30-35 thousand — didn't happen by chance. The long-range capabilities have yielded results", said the President.

The President of Ukraine added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently lack long-range weapons to more effectively strike Russian targets.

"Insufficient long-range capability is a fact. We had a specific amount of long-range weapons we requested from our partners. We know every target—where their depots are, their command centers, and which factories are producing weapons against us. There's a whole chart of these points. However, to destroy them, we need a sufficient amount of long-range weapons. So far, we haven’t had that amount,"  Zelenskyy explained.

As a reminder, Novyny.LIVE's sources recently reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had struck several targets in Russia.

Also, a few days ago, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked strategic enterprises in the Kazan and Saratov regions.
