Zelenskyy defined the priorities for the Ukrainian defense industry in 2025
On Tuesday, October 8, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the State Defense Committee. The topic was providing the Defense Forces with weapons and military hardware.

"The report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi was about the needs of the army until the end of the year and for the future. Reports of all participants are in the process on how to ensure these needs: what we will purchase, what we will receive from allies, what we will produce independently," the head of state said.
According to him, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin and others also reported.
At the meeting of State Defense Committee, the priorities for the Ukrainian defense industry in 2025 were determined. It is about missiles, drones, shells, as well as actively attracting investments from partners.
It should be recalled that on October 7, Zelenskyy awarded the defenders with state awards. He emphasized that the country is proud of its heroes.
In addition, on October 6, Zelenskyy congratulated all teachers and educators on the Day of Education Workers. The head of state emphasized the importance of their work in educating future generations.
