Enemy strikes in Cherkasy region — residential buildings and bus station came under attack

On Wednesday, October 23, Cherkasy region was attacked by enemy drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy six enemy targets.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties. That is the most important thing," the regional military administration (RMA) reported.

It was noted that air defense forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units destroyed six attack drones. However, unfortunately, there were hits.

In the Cherkasy district, the invaders targeted infrastructure facilities, and damage assessments are ongoing.

"The building of a completely civilian bus station in the regional center was damaged. Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire," the RMA stated.

It was also reported that an administrative building of a private enterprise and several vehicles were damaged.

In the Zolotonosha district, debris from Russian equipment damaged the roof of a private residence. Additionally, drone debris destroyed a private garage and several vehicles in the Uman district.

As a reminder, a series of explosions occurred in Cherkasy today. The city was attacked by enemy kamikaze drones, which resulted in a strike on the bus station.
