Russia complains about massive drone attack

In Russia, the night and morning of December 31 were filled with explosions. They said that about 68 drones attacked different regions of the country.
This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Explosions in Russia on December 31
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that last night, air defense systems destroyed 68 unmanned aerial vehicles in different regions of the country. According to official information, the drones were shot down over the territories of Bryansk region, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, Smolensk, Tver, Rostov, Kursk, and Kaluga regions.
According to published information, the largest number of UAVs were shot down over the following regions:
- 25 drones in the Bryansk region;
- 17 over the territory of the Republic of Crimea;
- 11 in the Krasnodar region;
- 10 in the Smolensk region.
The ministry said that all attempts by the drones to cause damage were neutralized in time due to the effective work of air defense.
Despite the fact that the Ministry of Defense assures that there were no negative consequences of the attack, an oil depot in Yartsevo is on fire.
Also on December 31, explosions were heard in Sevastopol.
