First Rank Reserve Captain and former deputy chief of staff of the Naval Forces Andrii Ryzhenko said that the Russian occupiers can simultaneously launch up to 90 "Kalibr" cruise missiles at Ukraine. The last massive attack from Russian ships and submarines took place on August 26.

Andrii Ryzhenko said this during the broadcast of "Kyiv24" on Friday, November 15.

Attack with "Kalibrs" on Ukraine

"Currently, the ships of the Black Sea and Caspian Flotilla can have up to 90 "Kalibr" missiles, which they can actually launch simultaneously," Ryzhenko said.

According to him, Russian submarines carrying these missiles are almost always in the Black Sea.

"Their presence in the Black Sea is safe, they are underwater. And they launch the "Kalibr" missiles from a depth of 50 meters," he noted.

Ryzhenko says that during the last massive attack on August 26, 28 "Kalibr" missiles were launched from Russian ships and submarines.

The former deputy chief of staff of the Navy emphasized that usually the massive use of "Kalibr" missiles occurs amidst launches from air carriers, such as strategic aircraft Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-160.

"I think that the ammunition of these missiles is on ships in both the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, and some kind of massive attack is being prepared. I think that it can be connected with the cold snap for hitting energy infrastructure facilities. We must be ready for this," Ryzhenko added.

As a reminder, due to the attacks of the invaders, Centrenergo lost over 2.5 GW of capacity and a significant part of its equipment. The losses currently amount to 250 million euros.

In addition, on the night of November 15, the Russian invaders used cluster munitions again against the civilian population of Odesa. Damage was recorded in at least seven locations.
