Shelling of Sumy on November 26

"Currently, a rescue operation is still underway in Sumy at the site of the shelling of the service station. Unfortunately, two people died. My condolences to their relatives and loved ones," he said.

Another person may be under the rubble, a house and a kindergarten were damaged nearby. According to preliminary information, the enemy fired from multiple rocket launchers.

Zelenskyy noted that the only way to protect themselves against these weapons is to destroy installations on Russian territory. The ability to strike at enemy territory is important for Ukraine, because only this can limit Russian terror and its ability to fight.

"I am grateful to all partners who understand this and explain it to others," the President added.

It should be reminded that powerful explosions were heard in Sumy yesterday evening.
