Missiles and drones downed overnight — Air Force report
On the night and morning of November 28, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types and attack drones. A total of 188 air targets were detected in the skies over Ukrainian cities.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine on November 28
According to the Air Force, at night and in the morning of November 28, the occupiers fired at Ukraine:
- Three S-300 surface-to-air missiles launched from the Belgorod region towards Kharkiv;
- 57 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers in the Volgograd region;
- 28 Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea;
- Three Kh-59/69 guided air-to-surface missiles launched from airspace over the Black Sea;
- 97 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones launched from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, Bryansk, and Millerovo.
"The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, air defense units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
As of 10:30 a.m., the downing was confirmed:
- 76 Kh-101/Kalibr cruise missiles;
- Three Kh-59/69 guided air-to-surface missiles;
- 35 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones (62 enemy drones lost signal and could not be tracked).
It is also known that the enemy's missile and drone strike was aimed at Ukraine's energy facilities.

The head of the Prosecutor General's Office, Andriy Yermak, said that Russia has been stockpiling missiles to strike Ukrainian infrastructure during the cold weather.
