Occupiers under the rain of "Grad" — video

The soldiers of the Predator Brigade of the Patrol Police are working at the front and destroying the enemy. To do this, they use the Grad multiple rocket launcher system.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs alongside the video.

What we know about Grad

The BM-21 Grad is a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) developed in the 1960s. This weapon is designed to destroy manpower, equipment, fortifications, as well as to create obstacles and destroy infrastructure over large areas. Grad is one of the most famous MLRS systems and is widely used in many countries.

  • Caliber: 122 mm;
  • Number of launch tubes: 40;
  • Maximum firing range: 20-40 km (depending on the type of ammunition);
  • Minimum firing range: Approximately 5 km;
  • Chassis type: Truck (commonly Ural-375D, Ural-4320);
  • Time for a full salvo: 20 seconds;
  • Crew: 3-7 personnel;
  • Reload time: 7-10 minutes (depending on the crew).

As a reminder, Ukrainian border guards have recently effectively destroyed the occupiers' equipment and positions in Donetsk region.
