The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed the successful operation of the Defense Forces. They managed to destroy the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Bryansk region.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

What the Russians had in stock at the 67th arsenal in the Bryansk region

According to the General Staff, Russians stored ammunition for rocket and artillery weapons there, including those Russia had received from North Korea, and guided aerial bombs. Most of the ammunition was stored outdoors in the arsenal.

"Explosions were recorded on the territory of the facility. It is known that the local authorities have blocked the road near the arsenal. The results of the combat operations are being clarified," the General Staff said.

They added that the destruction of such arsenals seriously affects the enemy's logistics and reduces the possibility of an offensive by the occupiers in threatened areas.

Explosions at the 67th arsenal in Karachev

It is worth noting that Russians complained about powerful explosions in Karachev, Bryansk region. Interestingly, the governor of the region assured citizens that the situation was under control, and all the drones had supposedly been eliminated, and no damage or any consequences occurred.

Instead, residents of the region began posting videos on social media showing powerful explosions and the glow of fire. It should be noted that the arsenal is located not far from the town of 20 thousand people.

As a reminder, a drone recently blew up a huge ammunition depot in Toropets. Powerful explosions were heard at the 107th Rocket and Artillery Ammunition Arsenal (Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense).

Also in late September, a fire broke out at a military airfield after a UAV attack in Yeysk, Krasnodarskyi region. An ammunition depot was struck in Kotluban, Volgograd Region.
