The US President Joe Biden has recently granted Ukraine permission to conduct long-range strikes on Russian territory. At the same time, the White House admitted that they plan to force Ukraine to negotiate with Russia in the near future.

This was reported by The Washington Post on Tuesday, November 26.

Negotiations with Russia

The White House admitted that they will force Ukraine to negotiate with Russia in the coming months and give up the territories.

The publication writes that this is why Biden "abandoned previous restraint" and allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike Russian territory with Western missiles. The US also provided Ukraine with anti-personnel mines, which are banned in most countries of the world.

American officials believe that the ATACMS missiles should deter North Korea from sending additional troops to Russia, and the mines should stop the Russian offensive in eastern Ukraine.

"The White House is trying to put Ukraine in a stronger position during the negotiations with these urgent measures," the material says.

As a reminder, Turkey is negotiating with the United States and Russia to lift sanctions against Russia on the sale of energy resources to other countries.

The media also wrote that the United States has become interested in Ukrainian natural resources.
