Ukraine attacks the Borisoglebsk military airfield

Sources reported that overnight, drones from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Special Operations Forces, and other defense units targeted warehouses containing guided aerial bombs, SU-35 and SU-34 aircraft parking areas, as well as aviation fuel storage sites at the military airfield Borisoglebsk in the Voronezh region. It is known that the occupiers launch guided aerial bombs at Ukraine from this location.

During the night, Russians reported the operation of air defense systems, numerous drone flights, and powerful explosions. They claimed there was a fire near the local airfield. Satellite monitoring detected a total of four hotspots of fire on the territory of Borisoglebsk.

"The SBU continues to carry out active measures to reduce the enemy's capability to terrorize peaceful Ukrainian cities with fighters using guided aerial bombs. The demilitarization of Russian military airfields will continue because the enemy should not feel safe even on their own territory," an informed source within the Security Service stated.

Additionally, on October 2, the Cyber Corps of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine successfully conducted a cyberattack aimed at the Russian financial sector. Targets included Alfa-Bank, Bank "Otkritie", and the telecommunications operator "Rostelecom".

Also on the night of September 29, Russian regions were massively attacked by drones. There were hits on ammunition depots and an airfield.
