Explosions in the Rivne region on the evening of November 28 were caused by the work of air defense forces. An air alert was announced in the region due to the threat of strike drones.
The head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported on the work of the air defense via Telegram.

"No panic. Air defense forces are working," the head of the RMA noted.
Meanwhile, an air alert is ongoing in the Rivne region, which was announced at 4:03 p.m. According to reports from the Air Force, residents of the region are threatened by Shahed drones.
As of the time of news publication, an air alert has been announced in the following regions:
• Kyiv
• Cherkasy
• Chernihiv
• Sumy
• Poltava
• Kharkiv
• Donetsk
• Dnipropetrovsk
• Zaporizhzhia
• Volyn
• Rivne
Traditionally, the temporarily occupied Luhansk region and Crimea are "reddish" on the map.
It should be recalled that powerful explosions also sounded in the Kyiv region on the evening of November 28. Drones were recorded in the airspace.
Previously, we reported on a massive Russian attack on Ukraine during the morning of November 28. The occupiers shelled Kyiv and the region, explosions also were heard in Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk regions and Kharkiv.
