Night shelling of Ukraine — how many targets were shot down
On the night of November 5, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with attack drones and missiles. Air defense was operating in seven regions.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ministry reported that from 8:00 p.m. on November 4 to the morning of November 5, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with:
- Two Kh-59/69 guided missiles from the Black Sea in Odesa region;
- Guided aerial bombs in Kharkiv region;
- 79 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified drones from Bryansk, Kursk, and Orel (Russia).
"The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
According to the Air Force, as of 8:30 a.m., two Kh-59/69 guided missiles and 48 enemy UAVs were confirmed downed in Odesa, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytsky regions.
Another 30 enemy UAVs were lost in different regions of Ukraine, and one returned to Russia.
As a reminder, last night Russia attacked Kharkiv with missiles. The attack resulted in injuries and damage to civilian infrastructure.
In addition, expert Oleksandr Kovalenko claims that the occupiers have been stockpiling missiles for two months to launch a massive strike on Ukraine during the heating season.
