The US President Joe Biden has allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike with long-range ATACMS missiles. According to President of Poland Andrzej Duda, this decision could be pivotal in the war.

Reuters wrote about this on Monday, November 18.

"This decision was very necessary... Russia sees that Ukraine has strong support and that the West's position is unwavering and decisive. This is a very important, potentially pivotal moment in this war," Duda said.

The Polish leader also criticized Germany for not aligning its policy with that of the US and condemned a telephone conversation between Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He suggested that Germany is looking for an opportunity to reach an agreement on returning to energy contracts with Russia in this way. Duda called this a mistake on the international political front.

"Russia is brutally attacking Ukraine, and one of the leaders of the free world, one of the leaders of the West, a large European country, the strongest economy in Europe, is negotiating with the aggressor," he noted.

It should be recalled that Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda called the US decision to allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use long-range weapons a decisive moment in the fight against the aggressor.

And the son of the newly elected US President Donald Trump Jr. believes that such actions could provoke World War III.

In addition, according to the deputy commander of the Third Assault Brigade, Maxim Zhorin, this information should have remained undisclosed in order to prevent the enemy from preparing.
