Zelenskyy held another meeting with the State Defense Committee

On Monday, October 14, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. He listened to the report of Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, regarding the operational situation at the front line.

The Ukrainian leader announced this via Telegram.

"Active actions are now taking place along the entire length of the front line, but the battles are particularly fierce in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions. For the fifth day, the Russians have been trying to break through our defenses in Kursk. The guys are holding on and counterattacking," the report says.

Zelenskyy also listened to the analysis of representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Foreign Intelligence Service regarding those who help Russia wage war against Ukraine. At the same time, the State Defense Committee discussed what steps should be taken to weaken these criminal unions.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense reported to the President about contracting for the current and next periods, in particular with the use of partner assistance. It was also about the investments of our key partners in the Ukrainian defense and industrial complex.

Previously, Zelenskyy visited one of Ukraine's defense and industrial complexes. The head of state emphasized the importance of their work for the protection of the state.
