In Mariupol, schoolchildren urged to join Russian Guard
Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Mariupol are agitating high school students to enroll in Russian Guard schools. The invaders plan to hold such events in all schools of the city.
This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, via Telegram.
How Russians agitate children in Mariupol
Andriushchenko stated that such propaganda by the occupiers is quite effective due to the collaboration of traitorous educators and the isolation of parents from ideological influence.
"Similar recruitment activities will take place in all the city's schools. During the recruitment, they promise high scholarships, conduct weapon-handling workshops, and teach tactical medicine. This is followed by a lecture on "prestige". The militarization of Ukrainian children under occupation is in full swing," the message reads.
As a reminder, Russian occupiers recently distributed new globes to children in the temporarily occupied territories, marking some parts of Ukraine as part of Russia.
We also reported that an interest-free mortgage program has been introduced in Mariupol, available only to Russian citizens. Meanwhile, local residents who lost their homes are offered apartments at exorbitant prices.
