Special forces of the MID liberated Kruglyakivka — video

The "Brotherhood" division as part of the "Tymur" Special Forces Unit of the MID of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, with the support of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, successfully completed the operation to regain control over Kruglyakivka in the Kupyansk district. The operation lasted from October 7 to 14, 2024, despite active resistance from Russian troops.

This was reported by the MID press service on Friday, October 18.

During the fighting, Ukrainian soldiers managed to repel enemy counterattacks and inflict significant losses on them. The enemy lost more than a platoon of infantry in close combat, and also suffered additional losses during the clearing of the settlement. Special forces were also able to capture the occupiers, which allowed them to obtain important intelligence data.

"During the assault, special forces were able to capture Russian occupiers — important intelligence data was obtained. Replenishment of the exchange fund will also help return Ukrainian defenders from Moscow captivity. As a result of the operation, the enemy was knocked out of the settlement, and the routes of movement of the occupiers were mined," the message says.

Recall that on October 15, the MID press service published footage of the elimination of the occupiers in the Kharkiv direction. Aerial reconnaissance soldiers destroyed the invaders' artillery.
