Ukrainian Defense Forces hit Russian "Nebo-M" radar station
The Defense Forces of Ukraine Struck the Russian Radar Station "Nebo-M" with ATACAMS Ballistic Missiles. Its destruction significantly reduces the occupiers' ability to detect and intercept aerial targets.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, October 3.
Destruction of the Russian radar "Nebo-M"
The General Staff reported that the missile troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the Russian radar station "Nebo-M" with ATACAMS ballistic missiles. According to Ukraine's military leadership, its destruction significantly reduces the Russian army's ability to detect, track, and intercept aerodynamic and ballistic targets.
"The "Nebo-M" radar is a very complex target to hit, operating in stealth mode and scanning the horizon for aerial objects. According to available information, the enemy has only 10 operational systems of this type remaining, with each valued at over USD 100 million," the statement said.
Additionally, the General Staff noted that the destruction of the "Nebo-M" radar will create a favorable air corridor for the effective use of Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG cruise missiles.
Recall that the border guards of the Kramatorsk Detachment continue to strike at the enemy and their equipment. In Kharkiv region, a group of occupiers was successfully eliminated using the "Baba Yaga" drone.
Recently, Novyny.LIVE reported that the Third Assault Brigade showcased how they skillfully destroyed six trucks, a tank, and personnel of the occupiers.
