In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, 80% of critical infrastructure was destroyed as a result of Russian shelling. Currently, the occupying forces are only 7 km away from Pokrovsk.

Serhiy Dobryak, head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, announced this during the broadcast of a telethon on Friday, October 4.

The situation in Pokrovsk

About 13,000 people still live in the city, including 94 children. The occupying forces are located only 7 km from Pokrovsk.

"Only yesterday there were two shellings: at 10:30 a.m. and at 11:00 p.m. During these attacks, six guided aerial bombs were launched, which were aimed at the city center. As a result of the shelling, four people were injured," Dobryak noted.

It should be recalled that law enforcement officers recently arrested agent group resident of the Federal Security Service, which was planning to commit a series of terrorist attacks against the Ukrainian military.

The Security Service also arrested a Russian agent in the Donetsk region, who helped the occupiers advance on Pokrovsk and spied on the Defense Forces.
