Since Monday, October 28, the occupation authorities of Zaporizhzhia region have been closing the road from Berdiansk to Tokmak. The alleged reason is the transportation of heavy construction equipment.

This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, via Telegram on Monday, October 28.

Redeployment of Russian military units

"Today, the occupation authorities in Zaporizhzhia region are closing the road from Berdiansk to Tokmak under the pretext of a large convoy of heavy construction equipment," the statement said.

Andriushchenko noted that in fact, in this way, the occupiers are trying to avoid recording the movement of military units from the Mariupol-Berdiansk agglomeration in preparation for an offensive. It is not only heavy equipment, but also large columns of manpower and ammunition.
