Ukraine strikes at Russian ships in the Caspian Sea — video
For the first time, drones from Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) struck Russian vessels in the Caspian Sea that had launched missile attacks on Ukraine on Wednesday, November 6. The distance from the state border of Ukraine to the target is about 1500 km.

GUR's strike on Russian ships
On the morning of November 6, in the city of Kaspiysk, in the Russian republic of Dagestan, the GUR attacked Russian ships with drones. At least two objects were damaged as a result of the attack. These are probably the Tatarstan and Dagestan missile ships. In addition, small missile ships of the 21631 project were most likely damaged. It is noted that the city is located about 1500 km from the border with Ukraine.
Local Telegram channels also reported on the explosions and the attack. According to their reports, the damaged facility is home to coastal troops, including marines. The damaged ships have been conducting regular strikes against Ukraine, and the 177th Marine Regiment has been involved in battles in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
The strikes also suspended the operation of the airport in Makhachkala.
