President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Friday, November 8. In particular, they discussed the Kurakhiv direction.

The Ukrainian leader said this during an evening video address to Ukrainians.

The situation at the front line on November 8

"There was a report from the Commander-in-Chief today. About the front line. The Kurakhiv and the Pokrovsk directions are the most difficult right now. The military and the brigade commands are working to strengthen their positions," Zelenskyy said.

He said that today they handed over 30 more certificates for apartments for Ukrainian Heroes and families of fallen soldiers.

The President emphasized that this will always be the basis of the Heroes' policy — not only the memory of those who saved Ukraine, but also our ability to show state honor with specific actions, specific decisions, and specific care.

Previously, the presidential press service released a video of Zelenskyy handing over certificates for apartments to Ukrainian Heroes and relatives of fallen defenders.

Zelenskyy also visited the military in the Uzhhorod hospital undergoing rehabilitation and presented the defenders with awards.
